Evelyn and Frank Ginsberg Reading Fund

The Evelyn and Frank Ginsberg Reading Fund is a special initiative of the Learning Disabilities Association of Pennsylvania to provide free reading tutoring to children from lower income families and underserved communities in Pittsburgh. The fund is named in honor of Evelyn and Frank Ginsberg, the beloved grandparents of our founder, Collin Diedrich. This fund celebrates their commitment to education and community service in its mission to bring the power of reading to Pittsburgh’s learners.

Through the Evelyn and Frank Ginsberg Reading Fund, we strive to empower and support children facing challenges in reading, including students with and without learning disabilities. This fund will equip students with the tools to succeed academically and create a brighter future. Every dollar donated to this fund goes directly towards providing free reading tutoring and academic programs to students in need who may otherwise be unable to afford these services.

Evelyn and Frank’s unwavering dedication to education and their passion for helping others left an indelible mark on Collin’s life. Their invaluable support and encouragement played a pivotal role in Collin's personal journey to manage his own learning disabilities and achieve academic success, and their legacy of helping those in need inspired him to create this nonprofit organization to help bring the support he relied on to others.
