If you have learning disabilities, or you are a parent or teacher of a child with a learning disability…
We are here to help!
Overall Mission:
We are committed to offering direct services to PA residents to help children and adults with learning disabilities succeed. Our programs are offered at low or no cost and on sliding scales, ensuring accessibility for all who need them. Our services are focused on underserved neighborhoods to promote equitable access for everyone. This approach removes economic barriers that often prevent people from receiving necessary services. Our services are available to all students whether they have learning disabilities or not.

1 on 1 reading intervention:
This program follows the science of reading by utilizing a structured literacy and multi-sensory approach to teaching children and adults how to read. Our reading interventionists create individualized lessons for each student to best serve them. This instruction typically costs between $50-100+ per session and is inaccessible to people in need. We offer this type of reading instruction at no cost to students from lower-income households and those that live in underserved neighborhoods. We also provide free training to all of our reading instructors.
In 2024, 10 reading interventionists provided sessions for 28 students.

We offer this program at no cost to families in under-resourced neighborhoods to ensure equitable access to high quality reading instruction. We train local residents to become early literacy tutors and they tutor up to 4 students in a group.
